About the event
Protecting Children in a Digital World.
The digital world is an essential part of childhood – but it also presents new and evolving risks. From online exploitation and sextortion to grooming, trafficking, and the creation and distribution of child sexual abuse material, children and families are facing challenges that require all of us to be informed, prepared, and connected.
The Digital Safety Summit brings together professionals and community partners who play a role in protecting children online. This collaborative event will provide practical knowledge, current information, and tools to help recognise online threats, respond effectively, and strengthen the systems that protect children and support survivors.
Throughout the summit, attendees will hear from experts in the fields of child protection, law enforcement, technology, mental health, prosecution, victim advocacy, and online safety. Sessions will explore emerging trends in technology and exploitation, how offenders target children, the impact of online victimisation, and strategies for prevention and intervention.
