Join us for a detailed program that will provide an in-depth overview of the Medicare cost report and key factors that drive reimbursement. We’ll dive into a combination of dynamic lectures, class discussions, and storytelling to help you expand your knowledge and assess unique reimbursement issues within your organization.

  • Define the purpose of the cost report and its role in determining payments.
  • Examine each of the primary cost report worksheets.
  • Describe the Medicare cost report settlement and various settlement components.
  • Identify significant factors in hospital reimbursement, such as Medicare Advantage requirements, the prospective payment system, Medicare bad debts, and the wage index.
