Scott Donnell

Scott has spent his career on one question: how do you raise a kid who can handle hard things? Not a kid who avoids struggle โ€” a kid who gets stronger inside it.

For families parenting kids who've already been through more than most adults, that question lands differently. Scott's talk is about building capacity, not just managing behavior.

"What you don't heal from, you pass down."

The other stuff you're wondering.

Do I have to be a foster or adoptive parent to come?

No, the Parenting Summit is open to all parents. The afternoon sessions are specifically designed for foster and adoptive families or those considering fostering or adopting, but anyone who feels these sessions would be helpful or relevant is welcome to attend.

Is childcare really free?

Yes! Childcare is available on-site for Full-Day Restore Conference attendees. All childcare providers are vetted and paid through Restore Mission. Be sure to reserve your children's spots when you register; space is limited and fills quickly.

*Parents must remain on-site for the duration of the conference.

What ages does childcare cover?

Childcare is available for infants through 5th grade. If your child has specific needs or requires additional support, just let us know when you register and weโ€™ll connect with you ahead of the conference to make sure weโ€™re prepared to support them well.

Can I just come in the morning?

Yes. The Parenting Summit is a standalone ticket. If you decide you want to stay for the afternoon, you can upgrade at the door if space allows.

I'm a grandparent, can I attend?

Absolutely! The Parenting Summit is for anyone who plays a meaningful role in raising and supporting kidsโ€”including grandparents and extended family. The tools and insights shared are just as valuable for you.
