How to Make Class II and Class III Correction Simple and Predictable
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course reviews the philosophy of SAGITTAL FIRST™ Correction and its role in treating Class II and Class III malocclusions. Participants will examine the biomechanics of Carriere® Motion Pro® technology and review the clinical research supporting the effectiveness of Motion Pro appliances
The program will discuss treatment workflows that support same-day starts and improved efficiency. A variety of Class II and Class III correction cases will be demonstrated to highlight common treatment challenges and strategies to improve predictability. Practical considerations for integrating Motion Pro appliances into clinical workflows will also be discussed.
KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Dr. Ronald Risinger received his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He practiced general dentistry in the Air Force for five years, serving at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Dr. Risinger graduated with a master’s degree and an orthodontic specialty certificate from the University of North Carolina. Upon graduation, Dr. Risinger served a three-year tour as an orthodontist with the Air Force in Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Risinger has received numerous professional awards and is a published author in several international dental journals. He is a part time professor at the University of Texas orthodontic program in Houston, and currently practices in Beaumont, Lumberten, Port Arthur, and Orange, TX. Dr. Risinger is board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. i general dentist in Southern California who integrates orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and surgical principles into practical, everyday treatment planning. She translates clear aligner therapy, digital planning, and 3D printing into workflows that are realistic, measurable, and centered on patient outcomes.
PRIOR LEVEL SKILL / EXPERIENCE
No prior experience is required, though a basic understanding of orthodontic concepts is helpful.
