Securing the Line: Managing Cybersecurity in Packaging and Processing Operations

As packaging and processing systems become more connected, the boundary between machine performance and cybersecurity continues to narrow. A security issue can quickly become an operational issue, affecting equipment availability, product flow and the ability to support or recover a production line. This facilitated session will bring CPGs, OEMs, integrators and other operations stakeholders together to examine how cybersecurity can be managed without compromising uptime, safety or serviceability.

From Specs to Success: Aligning OEMs and CPGs

Explore how manufacturers and end users can strengthen collaboration by identifying common points of friction throughout the buyer–seller relationship. This interactive session will examine where communication, expectations, and processes break down, from initial engagement through post-installation support, and develop practical solutions both sides can implement to improve project outcomes and build stronger partnerships.

From Stop to Strategy: Turning Downtime Data into Operational Improvement

This session will create a common forum for examining the full operational and business impact of downtime. Through facilitated panel and table discussions, participants will identify losses that are frequently overlooked, compare approaches to collecting and interpreting downtime data, and explore how equipment design, maintenance, workforce readiness, changeover practices, spare parts and technical support affect both the frequency of stops and the speed of recovery. The objective is to develop a more consistent and actionable approach to measuring, communicating and reducing downtime.
