Register here to for the new UFT Teacher Center course, NYCPS Hidden Voices: Untold Stories of Jewish Americans in U.S. History.

This course is designed for educators to implement the NYCPS Hidden Voices project into their classrooms. Participants will discover the rich and complex identities of Jewish Americans throughout U.S. history, reflect on identity and gain insight into cultural, religious, ethnic and historical dimensions that have shaped Jewish American experiences over time. They will also learn practical strategies to integrate the NYCPS Hidden Voices: Jewish Americans in U.S. History project into their teaching.

This course consists of two in person sessions. It is recommended that participants sign up for both sessions.

Session 1: Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Session 2: Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m.
