Objectives: 

  • Describe the role and responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist within a Virtual ICU model, including remote ventilator monitoring and management.
  • Discuss how virtual respiratory care enhances patient safety, early intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration across critical care environments.
  • Identify the clinical and operational benefits of virtual RT services, including standardization of care, escalation support, and improved critical care efficiency.

 

PSRC is now offering non-traditional courses for all.  

This lecture is approved for 1.0 hour of non-traditional continuing education by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

In order to receive credit, you must complete the evaluation and post test scoring 80%.

Certificates will be sent bi-monthly.
