What part do libraries play in leading communities through today’s massive transformation in information accessibility?
Join us for a timely discussion between Dennis T. Clark, Librarian of Virginia, and Leo Lo, Dean of Libraries at the University of Virginia. This moderated exchange will delve into how libraries are stewarding AI curated information, navigating the AI Answer Economy, and promoting institutional trust. This discussion is especially meaningful as the policies and decisions of a new administration will influence Virginia’s educational and technological landscape for a generation.
We invite you to engage in a forward‑looking conversation about the role — and responsibility — of libraries in an AI driven world. Together, we’ll explore how these trusted institutions are guiding the public in an age of instant answers.
Cocktail reception to follow.
Complimentary parking in the library garage, entrances on 8th and 9th Streets.
