Coming to the Table (C2T) Conversations catalyze cross domain discussions and collaborative actions to advance family mental health practice and policy solutions for populations bearing the burden of pollution, disease, poverty and violence.

CONVENING VISION

To bring together experts from government, academia, philanthropy, business sector, and impacted community to develop whole-of-government/society solutions that advance family mental health, economic mobility, and environmental resiliency for disadvantaged, underserved, and overburdened populations. This vision is sustained by the Elevate Policy Lab mission to address maternal mental health as a pathway to environmental, economic and health justice.

CONVENING PURPOSE

To achieve this vision, Elevate Policy Lab’s objectives for the convening are:  

  • Foster multi-stakeholder understanding of family mental health and triple bottom line (environmental, health, and economic) justice among impacted, disadvantaged communities. 
  • Identify cross domain, collaborative policy and practice actions for community-based organizations, academia, philanthrophy, business sector, and government. 
  • Lay a foundation for collaboration that leads to community transformation, including strategies to drive decision-makers to adopt Triple Bottom Line Justice for family mental health.

AUDIENCE

The event is designed to reach a range of audiences through the application of scaled participation across the five domains of community/families, government, business sector, philanthropy, and academia. Speakers/Panelists and interactive participants will be engaged. Observers will also be included. A broader audience will be reached through a convening website containing background information and capturing observations and recommendations of the C2T Conversations.

CONVENING FORMAT & REGISTRATION

Participants are asked to attend two 90-minutes segments scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, and Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT. The event will include brief presentations, group discussion and exercises, and identification of action steps.

The convening will be held via Zoom Meeting and requires pre-registration to attend. Invited attendees will receive a direct email with a link to register for the meeting.
