ERN Conference Registration Process          

Welcome to the registration process for the 2027 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM. The conference is hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Center for STEMM Education & Workforce (CSEW) Programs and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for STEM Education (EDU). The conference is aimed at college and university undergraduate and graduate students who participate in programs funded by the NSF EES Unit, including underrepresented minorities and persons with disabilities. The ERN Conference is supported by a grant from the HBCU-UP Program - Grant No. 2434437 - Assessing the Impact of an Inclusive Community of Practice to Advance Motivation and Persistence among URM STEM Student Researchers.

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on March 4 - 6, 2027. The conference begins with the opening plenary session at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, and concludes at 9:00 PM on Saturday, March 6. Please review the agenda tab for registration hours.

The conference registration fee is $500. This fee covers the meals indicated on the conference agenda.

Please note, that if you are submitting a student abstract or student travel award, you must do so at this link. Abstract submissions and Travel award applications for 2027 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM open on August 3, 2026 and close on August 21, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Decisions will be sent to applicants the week of October 12, 2026.

EXHIBITORS INFO

Exhibitor booths are $1,100 and exhibitor registration is $500 for each representative.  Exhibitor registration deadline is Friday, December 4, 2026.

  • Thursday,  March 4, 2027  |  8:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Friday,  March 5, 2027  |  1:30pm - 4:00pm
  • Saturday,  March 6, 2027  |  9:00am - 12:30pm
