CSAE Conference App
The CSAE Conference app is back for 2022 and now available to download!
You'll need to use the app to access the sessions at the event.
How can I access the CSAE App?
Via your computer
Via your mobile/tablet
You can access the CSAE Conference 2022 sessions on your computer in a web browser.
Step 1. Follow the link below and login using the email address that you registered with for the event.
Step 2. After you've logged in, you'll receive a 6 digit verification code to your email address. Use this code to verify your account when prompted.

You can download the CSAE App and then enter the CSAE Conference 2022 event via Google Playstore or the App Store.
Step 1. The first thing you'll need to do is download the app on the device you'll be using for the event via the link below)

Key app features
FEATURE 1: CREATE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
Sign up for and save all the sessions you’re interested in via “My Schedule”.
Go to the Conference programme to view the sessions. When you find one that you’d like to join, click the “Add” calendar icon and the session will be added to your personal schedule in the app.
FEATURE 2: JOIN LIVE SESSION
Go to the Conference programme and select the session you want to join. You’ll see a “Join Session” button, click on the button, fill in your name and conference registration email, and then you’ll join the Zoom session.
Links will be made at the start of the event. Before that time, you won’t see the “Join Session” button.
FEATURE 3: JOIN POSTER SESSIONS
Go to the Conference programme and select the session you want to join. You’ll see a “Join Session” button, click on the button, fill in your name and conference registration email, and then you’ll join the Gather Town space. Follow the white arrows into the poster/exhibitor room.
Links will be made at the start of the event. Before that time, you won’t see the “Join Session” button.
FEATURE 4: NETWORKING IN GATHER TOWN
Chat with other attendees using your microphone and video via our Gather Town space. You can talk in large groups or access one of our private spaces.
Select the "CSAE 2022 Gather Town” icon on the home screen, login using your registered email adderss, and this will take you directly to the networking space.
FEATURE 5: MESSAGING
Contact other attendees at the CSAE Conference via the app.You can message other attendees and speakers via the app by selecting the "Attendees" icon, clicking on the person you want to connect with, and then selecting "message".
N.B All profiles are hidden unless the individual attendee chooses to make themselves public.
FEATURE 6: EXHIBITOR BOOTHS
Talk to one of our exhibitors in the CSAE 2022 Gather Town space in our poster/exhibitor room. Oxford University Press and Africa Oxford Initiative will both have virtual booths staffed between 11:30 and 12pm (UK) every day (11-11:30 on Monday 14 March) .
Select the "CSAE 2022 Gather Town” icon on the home screen, login using your registered email adderss, and this will take you directly to the networking space.
