Join us for the 30th College of Emergency Nurses (CENNZ) Conference

The 30th CENNZ Conference will be held at Rydges Auckland on 19 & 20 March 2026. This event brings together emergency nurses, acute care professionals, and health leaders from across Aotearoa New Zealand to share knowledge, strengthen connections, and celebrate the expertise of our specialty.

Our conference theme is ‘Te pae tawhiti – Pursue Distant Horizons’. This whakataukī reminds us to set our sights on the distant horizon while holding fast to the values and goals already achieved. For emergency nurses, this theme speaks to our resilience in the face of social and political change, and to our steadfast commitment to clinical and cultural excellence.

Across two days, delegates will enjoy thought-provoking keynote presentations, practical workshops, and research posters, alongside a vibrant trade exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in clinical care.

CENNZ is dedicated to promoting excellence in emergency nursing within Aotearoa New Zealand, through setting the standards for clinical and cultural practice, education, and research. This conference reflects that mission—providing an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together as we pursue distant horizons.
