HFMA Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, partners, vendors, attendees and staff at any HFMA events are required to observe the following Code of Conduct.

  • Event participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others and maintain the highest level of professionalism at all conference programs and events.
  • All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for the conference.
  • Be kind to others. Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.

HFMA retains the right to take any actions against participants engaging in harassing behavior. This includes the loss of right to attend or participate in the HFMA event, including forfeiting any registration fees paid.

We want you to enjoy our event and always feel safe. If anyone makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please tell an HFMA Team member.
