Niner Nation Serves takes place throughout the month of April. Please join us for the perfect time to give back while connecting with fellow UNC Charlotte alumni. Below is the schedule of events. More events are being added, so keep an eye on this page.

GRADUATE & PROFESSIONAL STUDENT GOVERNMENT

Graduate Student Appreciation Week

The Graduate & Professional Student Government and Thomas L. Reynolds Center for Graduate Life & Learning are welcoming alumni, students, faculty and staff to volunteer during their Graduate Student Appreciation Week. This includes helping with set up, breakdown, food and registration. 

Monday, April 7, Wednesday April 9 and Thursday April 10 | Various shifts daily from 2 - 6 p.m.

OFFICE OF SUSTAINABILITY

Campus Beautification Day

The Office of Sustainability is welcoming alumni, students, faculty and staff to participate in their second annual Campus Beautification Day. This includes planting trees, picking up and sorting trash found on campus. *Moved due to weather*

NUE Day of Service

The NUE Day of Service is held at our very own Lab School, Niner University Elementary School. This is a time for volunteers to take part in activities that aim to inspire students to care for their environment, foster a sense of stewardship and empower them to be responsible global citizens.

BELK COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

Belk College Day of Service

Business Niner alumni and students will partner with the community organization Keep Charlotte Beautiful for an On-Campus Cleanup project. 25 students are registered and there are 12 spots for alumni to volunteer.  Keep Charlotte Beautiful provides cleanup supplies and vests.

COLLEGE OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES

College of Health & Human Services Day of Service - Fight Against Hunger

Volunteers will sort, inspect and/or pack non-perishable food items for distribution to individuals and families in need through our network of emergency food pantries around Mecklenburg County.

Unable attend any of the Niner Nation Serves events? That's okay. We encourage you and other Niners to create or participate in projects within your community. Register and we'll send you a Niner Nation Serves t-shirt for free. One shirt per registrant. Show your Niner pride.
