This in-person APAC Evaluator Workshop will take place on 27-28 May 2027 in Seoul and is kindly hosted by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). This workshop is mandatory for all APAC Peer Evaluators (including Nominated Evaluators, Trainee Team Members, Team Members, Deputy Team Leaders and Team Leaders) that have the Product (ISO/IEC 17065) scope.
APAC will provide funding to help cover the expenses to attend workshop, including flight costs, accommodation, meals, etc. Refreshments and lunch will be provided each workshop day at no charge to the attendees. See the 'Funding' tab on this website for more details.
This APAC Evaluator workshop is to review, discuss and harmonise expectations and practices amongst APAC Evaluators that evaluate the APAC MRA Product (ISO/IEC 17065) scope. The workshop will focus on evaluating accreditation body activities taking into account the updated editions of ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services and ISO/IEC 17067 Conformity assessment — Fundamentals of and guidelines for conformity assessment schemes.
Please note that immediately prior to this APAC Evaluator Workshop there will be a three-day training course on the use of the updated editions of ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17067. That 3-day training course will be from 24-26 May 2027 at the same venue. APAC will extend the per diem for those APAC Peer Evaluators that choose to attend that training event as well. That training event requires a separate registration on that event's registration website.

The evaluator that attends the workshop is expected to share their knowledge and workshop materials with other relevant evaluators from their accreditation body when they return from the workshop.
