On National Nut Day, October 22nd, PTNPA and its Industry Affiliate partners will bring the nut industry together in Washington, D.C. for an interactive celebration highlighting the nutrition, versatility, economic impact, and community value of nuts.

This is more than a reception. It is an opportunity to put the industry - and the commodities PTNPA represents - directly in front of key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.

Commodity Marketplace

Guests will taste, discover, and learn as they explore a marketplace featuring product samples, information and the unique story behind each nut.

PTNPA's Nut Numbers Economic Impact Report brings those contributions to life with clear, compelling data on sales, employment, and economic activity.

Nutrition and Wellness

Nuts are nutrient-dense foods that can play an important role in healthy eating patterns. 

PTNPA's Industry Affiliate Members will share approachable, science-based information about nuts as a convenient, satisfying snack and the role nuts play in a healthy lifestyle. 

The goal is simple: help more people understand why nuts belong on the table.

220 Sandwiches. One Community.

In partnership with Thrive DC, guests will participate in PTNPA's Nut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Station with a goal of preparing 220 sandwiches to be donated to the nonprofit and the community it serves.

It is a tangible way for the nut industry to celebrate National Nut Day by doing what nuts do especially well - nourish people.
