Training Overview
In your work life, you are a reflection of your organization. You want people to respect you. That is hard to do if your writing is poor, clumsy, unclear or unprofessional. Writing goofs can lead to confusing or unclear communications, making you look foolish and preventing people from taking you seriously. No one wants that!
Writing clearly, and using the English language correctly, helps you gain esteem and avoid miscommunication that can cause problems for you and others. Take this opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others and look closely at some common writing goofs. We will also discuss causes for many of them. Importantly, you will also consider which goofs currently plague your writing.
You will learn how to create and use a Reference Binder or Folder for quick reference to help avoid these and other goofs. You will also learn tips and tricks and receive guides which will help you improve your writing going forward.
We are discussing goofs - so bring your sense of humor along with a desire to improve your writing.
