Join us for the quarterly Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Roundtable a forum designed to foster engagement across the internal audit community. This session will provide key insights/discussion from the CAE community and offer a platform for open dialogue on the evolving risk landscape.
In this Roundtable session, the session will begin with a forward-looking discussion on how Internal Audit must evolve to remain relevant and impactful. The roundtable will explore AI and automation, continuous auditing, dynamic risk assessment, talent and skills, advisory services, Audit Committee expectations, and the future Internal Audit operating model, with a focus on practical insights CAEs can apply within their organizations.
Potential discussion questions:
- Stop: What traditional audit practices no longer provide sufficient value?
- Start: What capabilities should Internal Audit build now to remain relevant through 2030?
- Reinvent: How should AI, analytics and continuous auditing change how assurance is delivered?
- Talent: What will the Internal Auditor of 2030 need to know and do differently?
- Stakeholders: How will Audit Committee and executive expectations of Internal Audit evolve?
- Value: How should we measure Internal Audit's impact beyond audits completed and findings issued?
