The Applied Health Physics I – Fundamental Concepts and Detector Technologies online training course is self-paced and can be completed as time allows. The course includes 21 modules and two webcasts. To complete the course, you will be required to pass an exam. A passing score is 70 out of 100. You will have three attempts to successfully complete the exam. A certificate of completion will be provided upon successful completion of the exam. Course materials are available on the ORAU PTP Learning Management System (LMS).
PTP instructors will be available via email, phone, or Microsoft Teams to answer questions and provide assistance when needed.
This course can be completed independently or as part of the new blended Applied Health Physics course. If you plan to complete the full Applied Health Physics five-week course curriculum, this course is the first of the three required self-paced training modules in our online training catalog.
