Assistance to attend Porphyria Palooza
Travel stipends of up to $500 are available to help cover travel and registration costs for patients. Each porphyria patient family is eligible for one stipend application.
Eligible Expenses
- Hotel accommodations
- Basic economy airfare
- Cost of a basic bus or train fare
- Ground transportation between your hotel and the airport/station
- Mileage to and from Kansas City, Missouri
- Car rental and gas cost
- Parking costs at hotel or departing airport/station

Additional Travel & Accommodation Assistance
Patients who receive an appointment with Dr. Bruce Wang through Porphyria Palooza's complimentary One-on-One Porphyria Expert Appointments may be eligible for reimbursement of certain travel and accommodation expenses through The Assistance Fund’s Porphyria Program.
Reimbursement is determined solely by The Assistance Fund (TAF). An appointment does not guarantee TAF enrollment, eligibility or reimbursement.
