Join us to connect, network, collaborate and celebrate with people and organizations doing transformational work throughout Western North Carolina.


With a theme of Building Steady Hope, the convening will offer you the chance to:

  • Build relationships and deepen connections across our network and the region
  • Deepen understanding of Dogwood's funding priorities and how to work with our team
  • Hold space for reflection and connection

 

Sessions
  • Registration & Optional Networking Breakfast
    8 to 9:30 a.m.
    Connect with colleagues and meet new ones. Look for reserved tables for grantee cohorts, including Early Care & Education; Out-of-School-Time; Digital Opportunities; Policy & Advocacy and Collaboration & Innovation. Dogwood staff will also be throughout the room to meet and welcome you.
  • Plenary: Annual Meeting & Reflections on Building Steady Hope
    9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
    Hear updates about Dogwood's community investments and plans for the coming year, including stories about the ways our partners are collaborating across our strategic priority areas of Housing, Education, Economic Opportunity and Health & Wellness.
  • Regional Breakout Sessions
    10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    Meet the leaders and organizations working in your county and beyond. You’ll have space to think creatively about how you might collaborate and work together to build steady hope in WNC. Dogwood team members will also be available to connect and answer questions.
  • Networking Lunch
    12 to 1:15 p.m.
  • Closing Plenary: Wellbeing Rooted in Place, Fellowship & Community
    1:15 to 2:30 p.m.

The convening is an invitation-based event and open to active Dogwood Health Trust grantee partners.

Each organization invited may register up to two attendees. You can determine who from your organization you'd like to attend.

Registrations will be reviewed and accepted until we reach capacity for the convening. If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, please contact communications@dht.org.

 

Coming from More than 90 Minutes Away? Support for Travel Expenses

With the event being held in the eastern portion of Western North Carolina, Dogwood is offering financial support for travel expenses to people traveling from areas more than 90 minutes away from Forest City. If you'd like to request this support, you may email communications@dht.org and we will accommodate your request as best we can.
