I invite you to attend the 70th Annual Ophthalmology Conference in Rochester, New York. We look forward to this year's meeting as we welcome guest faculty from the top of their sub-specialties. The 70th Snell Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Mark Kupersmith, MD, Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology. This year's program also includes a superb panel lecturers from our own faculty of internationally renowned experts. We hope that you enjoy the fourth season of the Ross Debates in Ophthalmology. These lively Pro vs. Con style presentations are structured to maximize audience participation and intended to create stimulating conversation about the latest innovations in our specialty. This year's program includes guest debaters Sophie Deng, MD, PhD, and Sonal Tuli, MD. The two of them will discuss the burgeoning field of interventional glaucoma therapy.

Our program for allied health professionals and ophthalmic technicians also features a single track of fast-paced presentations aimed at delivering skills-based information to improve performance in your exam, diagnostic, and operating rooms.

Physician Program Course Description

The Flaum Eye Institute proudly presents the 70th Rochester Ophthalmology Conference.
This year's meeting is highlighted by our Snell Memorial and Frederick Dushay Distinguished Visiting Professor lectures
featuring Mark Kupersmith, MD, and Paul Sternberg, MD.

In addition, the program features the third year of the Ross Debates in Ophthalmology.
These Pro vs. Con-style lectures present two sides of a controversial topic, encouraging audience participation.

Technician and Allied Health Professional Program

This Conference for Allied Health Professionals will provide an update for ophthalmic personnel at the assistant, technician, technologist, skilled nurse, or photographer level and will run concurrently with the physician conference.

An application has been made for Joint Commission on Allied Health Professionals in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) credit.
