2026 CAGT Conference

It's that time of year again to register for CAGT's annual conference. We can't begin to express how excited we are to see you for the 48th Annual CAGT State Conference! We are again at the Embassy Suites Loveland Hotel Conference Center & Spa and can't wait to see all of our loyal attendees, and some new faces October 18th-20th. Our theme for this year’s event is Cultivate the Extraordinary, which will provide opportunities for us to glean ideas that foster growth, nurture, or improve the education of our gifted learners. Our presenters will be sharing various ways to develop skills and qualities, and foster relationships within our extraordinary and diverse gifted youth.

We are in the process of booking our keynote speakers, and after the Call for Proposals are in, the Proposal Selection Committee will finalize this year’s lineup for the breakout sessions. These invited Keynote, Signature Series and Breakout speakers are eager to share new material regarding gifted students and their education with our conference attendees.

Sunday night, Early Check-in starts at 7:30 p.m. at the conference registration desk. It's a great idea to avoid the long check-in lines Monday morning.

If you are checking in at the Embassy Suites on Sunday evening, please enjoy the hotel's Manager's Reception, then you can come join us at Creativity Night to let your creativity flow, have fun with friends, and make new ones. Everyone who has attended Creativity Night at previous CAGT conferences has LOVED it! You can drop into this event anytime between 7:30 and 9:00 p.m., and it again promises to be a fun and productive evening. Creativity Night is FREE and desserts will be served! This year's crafts will cultivate your extraordinary creativity!

Also this year, check out our Game Night on Sunday night. It was a HUGE success last year, and we hope you can drop in between 7:30 and 9:00 pm to play some games with your friends or meet new ones. These games are fun and can be played with your GT students or shared with your GT families. You have a chance at winning some prizes too!! Game Night is also FREE and desserts will be served!

There will also be a 2026 conference T-shirt for sale with information to come soon for you to order a shirt in your preferred size. Pre-ordering is strongly recommended.
