We are excited to invite submissions for 50-minute presentations from districts and sponsors. We seek presentations that showcase best practices in urban public schools, focusing on district-led initiatives. 

For sponsors, Diamond sponsorship entitles you to one district-led presentation in General Session while Platinum sponsorship entitles you to one district-led presentation with either Chief Financial Officers, Procurement, Risk Management, or Internal Audit during a Breakout Session. Please note, all presentations with sponsors must include a CGCS district co-presenter. 

Please include the following in your proposal:

  • Session title/topic (max 10 words)
  • Objectives (1-3 key takeaways)
  • Brief session description (max 100 words)
  • Presenter information and bios
  • Headshots of presenters 

PRESENTATION INFORMATION

  • Notification: Presentation approval will be sent via email to the point of contact listed on the submission once the agenda has been finalized.
  • Agenda Confirmation: Please refer to the confirmation email for your assigned presentation date and time. If the presenters differ from those listed in your proposal, please provide updated names and titles, as these will appear in the final agenda.
  • Session Length: Each presentation session is 50 minutes. Please plan to include time for Q&A within this timeframe.
  • Slides (Required): Presentation slides must be submitted as a PDF only by November 2 to Delisa Nuñez at dnunez@cgcs.org.
  • Audio in Presentations: If your presentation includes audio, please notify us in advance so we can ensure proper setup.
  • Photography & Recording: Still photography only is permitted. Video recording is not allowed.
  • Day of Presentation: Please bring your presentation file with you. You may present using a USB flash drive on the provided laptop or from your own laptop. You may also log in via a web browser on the provided laptop, if needed.
  • A/V Equipment: Each room will be equipped with a projector, screen, laptop, and microphones.
