The Australian Bookkeepers Summit (‘the event’)
- The ticket holder acknowledges that the Australian Bookkeepers Summit 2026, held in Adelaide, South Australia is herein known as ‘the event"
- The ticket holder acknowledges that there is no virtual version of this event available.
- The purchase of a ticket for this event provides access to ‘the event’ which the ticket holder has registered. A single ticket purchase does not provide access to events in the event series known as the Australian Bookkeepers Roadshow 2026.
- Ticket Usage - One Day Pass
4.1 A One Day Pass entitles the ticket holder to attend the event on one (1) nominated calendar day only. The pass is valid for a single day of the event program and cannot be split, shared, transferred between days, or used for partial attendance across multiple days.
4.2 The ticket holder must nominate their chosen day of attendance no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the event, in the manner specified by ICB. If a nomination is not received by this deadline, ICB reserves the right to allocate a day at its discretion or restrict entry. Entry will only be permitted on the nominated or allocated day. Access to the alternate event day is not included and will require the purchase of an additional ticket.
4 . 3 ICB reserves the right to refuse entry on a second day where a One Day Pass has already been used or scanned for entry on another event day.
5. Ticket Usage – Two Day Pass
5.1 A Two Day Pass entitles the ticket holder to attend both calendar days of the event as scheduled by ICB. The pass provides access to all general sessions, exhibitions and inclusions applicable to standard event registration across both days, unless otherwise specified.
5.2 The Two Day Pass is issued to a single named attendee and is non-transferable between individuals. The pass cannot be shared, split between attendees, or used by different persons on separate event days.
5.3 Failure to attend one of the event days does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund, credit or partial reimbursement. Access to additional events, workshops or functions not included in the standard Two Day Pass may require the purchase of a separate ticket.
6. An ICB Member is only entitled topurchaseone ticket at the discounted level of pricing applicable to the membership level they hold. E.g. A Member in Practice can onlypurchaseone ticket at the discount offered to a Member in Practice.
7. A ticket holder can transfer their ticket to another person. If the person the ticket is being transferred to is not entitled to the same pricing discount as the original ticket holder, any increase in pricing to meet the appropriate ticket grade will be required to be paid to ICB. Should the person the ticket is being transferred to be entitled to a great pricing discount than that of the original ticket holder, no refund for the difference in pricing will be refundable.
8. Access links, logins, passwords or other access methods used from time to time for access to electronically available resources, gifts, commercial offerings made available after the completion of an event, are not to be shared with any person other than the ticket holder. The sharing of such access points to non-ticket holders, carries a fine equal to the full price of the non member ticket for each sharing incident.
9. Media Consent and Use of Image:
9.1. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, the ticket holder acknowledges and agrees that photography, videography and audio recordings may be captured during the event by or on behalf of the ICB.
9.2 .The ticket holder grants ICB a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, communicate and distribute any photographs, video footage or audio recordings in which they may appear, for the purposes of promoting ICB and its current or future events, programs and activities. This may include use across digital platforms, social media, websites, electronic communications, marketing materials and other promotional channels.
9.3. The ticket holder understands that no compensation will be payable in respect of such use and waives any right to inspect or approve the final promotional materials in which the media may appear.
9.4. If a ticket holder does not wish to be recorded or photographed, they must notify ICB in writing prior to the event and make themselves known to event staff on arrival so reasonable efforts can be made to accommodate their request.
10. The ticket holder acknowledges that all notifications of cancellations must be confirmed via email to and by events@icb.org.au prior to the event.
11. If you wish to cancel your ticket to the event :
11.1 prior to the end of the early bird date for ‘the Event’, you will be entitled to a full refund and any pre-approved access to the events will be removed.
11.2. after the early bird date but more than fourteen days before the commencement of "the event" we will charge a cancellation fee of $150 and we will provide a refund for the remaining amount and any pre-approved access to the events will be remove.
11.3. within fourteen days of the commencement of "the event" no refund will be paid or credit will be offered and any pre- approved access to the event will be removed. If you are a member of ICB, an electronic copy of the event manual will be provided to you.
- Resolution of Complaints
- We will in good faith attempt to resolve any complaint or dispute with you as quickly and amicably as possible. · You may notify a complaint or dispute to us at any time by sending an email to us at events@icb.org.au
- If you wish to make a complaint or raise a dispute regarding Fees, you must send us an email within 30 days of such fees being paid by your payment method.
- In the event that you do not raise any complaint or dispute in relation to an amount of fees within 30 days of payment, we will take this as your acknowledgement that the fees are fair and reasonable and as a waiver of your right to dispute them.
