The NJDA is happy to once again offer this VIRTUAL Lunch Session Series to support the educational needs of our members’ staff while satisfying licensure renewal requirements for FREE. The series is offered from March through October. Each course will be offered three times during lunch hours. This series is available to team members only – dental hygienists, dental assistants, lab techs, office managers and staff. THIS SERIES IS NOT APPROVED FOR DENTISTS.
The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry has mandated three licensure requirements to be completed for license renewal on December 31, 2027 for dental hygienists and December 31, 2026 for registered dental assistants.
Mandated License Requirements:
- One hour of continuing education in preventing and controlling Infectious Diseases and managing personnel health and safety concerns related to infection control in dental settings.
- One hour of continuing education in educational programs or topics concerning prescription.
- One hour of continuing education in educational programs in Professional Ethics and New Jersey law Concerning the Practice of Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting.
Registrants must be employed by a current ADA member who purchased the NJDA's Practice Solutions Series.
If you are experiencing technical problems or challenges participating, please DO NOT CALL THE NJDA. Please email conference@njda.org. We have staff on standby to assist during all sessions.
Registration for all NJDA education sessions closes ONE HOUR prior to the start time. Please contact conference@njda.org with any inquiries or need of troubleshooting.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A $15 administrative fee will be deducted from each refund issued. Please note this does not pertain to registration modifications. Attendees who cancel a virtual course must do so at least 7 days prior to the course date to receive a refund. Attendees who cancel an in-person course must do so at least 14 days prior to the course date to receive a refund. Please allow two weeks after the conclusion of any program for refund processing. Refunds cannot be issued for online training courses such as Basic Life Support as NJDA incurs costs once a training link has been issued.
The New Jersey Dental Association retains the right to cancel any program, event, or course for any reason at its sole discretion.
