KEYNOTE SPEAKER

James Reed is a disciple of Jesus Christ, a husband to one amazing woman, father to 6 wonderful kids, and papa to 8 (soon to be 9) incomparable grandkids. 

His professional background is as a board member, investor, and owner of diverse business from autonomous vehicles to trucking and railroading. He holds a BA and MBA from BYU.
 

James is a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with interests in  world religions - especially the elements that we share between faiths.

James and Kresta live on their family ranch in Van Buren, Arkansas. He is a 6th generation Arkansan.

VENUE

The 2026 NWA YSA Conference will be held at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Conference housing, meals, workshops, and activities are planned to take place around the campus, making it easy for participants to stay connected throughout the weekend.

Participants will check in at Maple West on Friday evening and receive the information they need for the weekend, including room assignments, schedule details, and directions to key locations.

ACCOMODATIONS

Conference housing will be provided at the University of Arkansas for registered participants who choose to stay overnight. The decision whether to stay on campus or not will not affect the conference fee. 

Participants staying in conference housing will check in Friday evening at Maple Hill West, where they will receive their room assignment, key, conference materials, and weekend information.

YSAs should bring any personal overnight items they will need for the weekend, including bedding for a twin mattress (sheets, blankets, pillows), clothes (casual for most of the event, something to get wet in for field games, and church attire for Sunday), and toiletry items (sunscreen, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.).
