Lincoln Center's Summer Forum: Development Labs for Teaching Artists and Educators

Description: Lincoln Center's Summer Forum: Moving the Field Forward, is a five-day celebratory convening specially designed for teaching artists and educators. This is your opportunity to grow and connect with fellow professionals—both local and international—for LCE's signature immersive workshops, experiential labs, performances, social networking events, and Summer for the City Dance Party. It is our hope that you leave Summer Forum with fresh ideas to propel your creative vision forward; innovative, new tools to incorporate into your practice; and new friends and colleagues for years to come.

What is the Cost? Summer Forum has a $50 fee to participate.
How and When do I pay? Once your registration form is completed, a summary will appear with credit card payment options. After payment is made, you will receive a confirmation email, securing your spot at Summer Forum.
Discount Codes are available for NYC DOE Educators, Lincoln Center Campus Teaching Artists, and current ITAC members. If this applies to you, please reach out to sf@lincolncenter.org for the code.
When: July 7th-11th, 2026
- July 7 (8am to 4:30pm)
- July 8 to 10 (9am to 4:30pm each day)
- July 11 (8:30am to 12:30pm)
Note: All participants are expected to attend the entirety of the program. Lunch breaks and session breaks will be scheduled throughout the day.
You are registering to be a part of a 5-day program, which includes:
- Experiential workshops in LCE's Aesthetic Education
- Opportunities to engage and reflect on works of art in multiple art forms
- Specialty workshops featuring topics such as: Arts and Health, Arts and Civic Dialogue, Accessibility and International Perspectives on Teaching Artistry
- Networking opportunities
- Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City events and performances after workshop hours
