Awards
Our Outstanding Community College Awards are a special opportunity to spotlight the excellence of institutions and network. Each of our 15 community college selects a member of their faculty and a member of their staff to recognize. Additionally, there are competitive statewide awards for key stakeholders and leaders.
How To Nominate
Nominations are often managed and submitted by the President's Office at each institution. These resources are meant to support campuses as they consider and put forward their nominees.

Timeline
Please note these key dates to ensure your campus' awardees are submitted and prepared to be recognized at the ceremony.
August 7 - Awards nominations open
September 25 - Awards nominations due
October 7 - Staff & Faculty awardees notified via email
October 19 - Competitive Awardees (Alumni, Business & Industry Partner, Innovation) notified via email
November 5 - Awardees announced on website & in newsletter
November 22 - Deadline to register
December 2 - Awards ceremony in Des Moines
