Objectives: 

  • Identify common respiratory-related challenges patients experience in the early post-discharge period.
  • Describe how acute care respiratory therapy skills can be adapted to support patient education beyond the hospital setting.
  • Discuss emerging roles for respiratory therapists in ambulatory and post-acute respiratory care while maintaining appropriate clinical scope.

PSRC is now offering non-traditional courses for all.  

This lecture is approved for 1.0 hour of non-traditional continuing education by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

In order to receive credit, you must complete the evaluation and post test scoring 80%.

Certificates will be sent bi-monthly.
