How do I get my game tickets this year?

  • Tickets will be purchased directly through the UF Athletic Association. Once you register for Alumni Band weekend, you will receive a link in the confirmation email to order tickets directly from the UF Athletic Association Ticket Office.
  • You must have a ticket to the game to have access to the field for the halftime show. You have the option of purchasing a ticket through UAA or using a ticket purchased separately. Below are the sections and pricing available to reunion registrants.
    • Sections 24/25/26 (behind or next to the Gator Band) – $123.63 per ticket
    • Other available seats in the stadium - 10% off UFAA Official Ticket price
  • Tickets are purchased with a specific seat. GBAA members should abide by the seat listed on the ticket. Accessible seats are available through the “other seating areas” ticket option listed above.
  • Please note, GBAA blocks are available until the sections are sold out or October 3, whichever is earlier.  Open inventory is available until the game is sold out.

Where do I get my tickets and wristbands?

  • Immediately after you purchase your tickets, you will RECEIVE AN EMAIL from FEVO Enterprise with instructions on HOW TO ACCESS your tickets through the Ticketmaster and the Florida Gators Apps. Please download your Football tickets and place them in your wallet before the weekend. We will have someone at registration to assist if you have any problems. Every person is responsible for their own football tickets.
  • You will receive your wristband(s) at check-in prior to Friday’s or Saturday’s rehearsal, along with other materials. Please note, UPD requires that you have a wristband for access to the field at halftime.

Do I have to attend rehearsal both Friday and Saturday to be eligible to march?

  • We recognize that people have other obligations that may prevent them from attending the Friday evening rehearsal.  The Saturday morning rehearsal is mandatory as the marching rehearsal is when everyone is assigned their spot on the field for halftime. Please note, instrument check out is on a first come, first serve basis Friday night and Saturday morning.

** No spots will be held, so you must attend Saturday morning’s rehearsal to claim your spot in the halftime show.

Where should I park?

Parking at UF, including parking for the Homecoming Parade, Friday night rehearsal is always a challenge.   If available, specific parking suggestions will be sent closer to the Reunion date. On Saturday, limited paid parking may be available in the non-reserved portions of the garage across from Gator Band Field on Gale Lemerand Drive.

** Do not park in service drives, disabled spaces, loading zones, “no parking areas, bike lanes, sidewalks, grass areas or reserved spaces (unless otherwise posted)

What is the dress code?

  • If you are marching, you must wear the new 2024 Gator Orange Alumni Band polo shirt, khaki bottoms (shorts, skort, skirt, capris, or long pants), and closed toe shoes.
  • The required Gator Orange Alumni Band polo shirt is not included in registration. Marchers must order it directly from the vendor. You will not be permitted on the field without the new (2024) official Gator Orange Alumni Band polo shirt.
  • Feel free to be comfortable in your Gator casual wear for the rest of the weekend as you network with your Gator Band family.

What can I bring in the stadium?

Following rehearsal at the practice field, all instruments must be loaded on the equipment truck; instruments will not be allowed into the stadium. Also, no purses or backpacks are allowed, only clear bags.

Approved Bags:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12”x 6”x 12”
  • A logo no larger than 4.5” x 3.4” can be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag.
  • A clear bag shall be clear from top-to-bottom and up to a 2” trim/border on the bag is generally acceptable.
  • One-gallon clear, resealable plastic storage bag
  • Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, approximately the size of hand, with or without a handle strap
  • Medically necessary items (after proper inspection).

Where do we get updates about game day?

As a member of the UF Alumni Association, be sure to download to the Gator Nation® App for game day updates. You may also connect with the GBAA social media platforms for updates on the weekend events. For all the latest updates,  follow GBAA on Facebook, Instagram, and visit the GBAA Website.

Can my children attend as my guest?

Absolutely! They must be registered as a paid guest. The fee for a guest (includes children 17 and under) is $30. With registration, they are welcome to watch rehearsals at the practice field and attend the tailgate. To attend the game, make sure to purchase tickets through UAA for your entire family.

Please note, only marchers will receive field access, so if you are marching, please be sure arrangements are made for your children to be supervised during the half-time performance.

I need to practice!  When and how will I get my music?

We know everyone wants to get their hands on the music as soon as possible so they can start practicing.  As soon as we get the music from the Gator Band, we do our best to send it to those participating in reunion.  Going by recent history, we typically send the music and FVE/Gatorette routines about a week to 2 weeks before the reunion. You will receive an email with a link which will allow you access your parts. Please note, due to licensing, you will only have access to the instrument group you indicated in your registration.

How can I be involved as a mentor in the March To Your Future Membership Program?

We are excited to expand our mentorship program this year to offer 1-on-1 mentoring between experienced Gator Band Alumni (mentors) and junior and senior Gator Band students (mentees)!  Applications to serve as a mentor will be accepted until August 31.  Please note, being a pilot year, we are not sure how many mentors we will be needed, if you are not selected to serve as a mentor, there will be other opportunities to participate in alumni panels or as mentors in the future! Attending reunion is not a prerequisite for being matched as a mentor.  For questions, please contact Scott Morrissett, March to Your Future Program Administrator at mentorship.gatorbandalumni@gmail.com.
