Built in 1898 and now a National Historic Landmark, the Berkeley is a steam ferryboat that carried survivors to safety after the San Francisco earthquake - and today sits permanently docked at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. For one evening, her decks are ours: polished timber, stained glass, and the lights of San Diego Bay on every side.
