ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

New Trainers

Those who have never been an AMSR trainer must fill out an application during the registration process.

To be eligible to participate in the Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) New Leader Training (NLT), applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:

• Masters degree or higher in a mental health profession
• Current state license to practice, as demonstrated by a copy or image of a current license (email to amsr@edc.org)
• Five or more years experience as a practicing clinician post-licensing
• Demonstrated stand-up training skills

Current AMSR Trainers

Current outpatient AMSR trainers need not attend another outpatient New Leader Training for the updated curriculum. Webinars are available to review the outpatient curriculum updates. Please email amsr@edc.org for details.
