When registering for the 2027 AAHCI-AAMC Leadership Forum, you’ll be prompted to sign in to your AAMC account or to set one up if you haven’t already done so.
About the Meeting
You're leading through unprecedented complexity. This Forum was built for you.
Join academic health leaders from around the world at the AAHCI-AAMC Leadership Forum, taking place Feb. 22–24, 2027, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Whether you're navigating workforce shortages, developing your next generation of leaders, or building international partnerships that produce real-world impact — you don't have to figure it out alone. This Forum brings together senior leaders and institutional designees from academic health centers, medical schools, and teaching hospitals who are wrestling with the same challenges you are, and who are ready to share what's working, what isn't, and the lessons they've learned along the way.
This year’s conversations are centered around Leading Academic Medicine in a Complex Global Landscape and will dive deep into two priorities that will define your institution's future: the health workforce and leadership development.
Here's what you'll walk away with:
- Real strategies for real-world leadership and management challenges — not theory, but proven approaches being implemented by your global peers
- New thinking on workforce planning from institutions facing the same pressures you are
- Concrete opportunities to build international partnerships that support your institution's goals
- Actionable insights you can bring home and put to work immediately
This Forum is for you if you're a senior institutional leader, dean, academic health system executive, medical education leader, leader of international strategy or operations, or emerging leader and your work connects to education, research, clinical care, workforce planning, innovation, or global engagement.
Can't attend yourself? Send someone who can represent your institution — someone who will connect with global peers, bring back insights that matter, and help carry your institution's leadership and global engagement priorities forward.
