The Texas Oral Health Coalition (TxOHC) Summit brings together individuals dedicated to improving oral health to advance the health of all Texans. 

Oral health and overall health are deeply connected, impacting everything from the ability to eat and speak to academic success, job opportunities, and chronic disease prevention. Yet too many Texans still face barriers to care, challenges to preventive measures, and health systems that treat the mouth separately from the body, resulting in poor oral health outcomes. When everyone has the opportunity to achieve their best oral health, we see healthier, stronger communities.

The summit serves as a space to reignite collaboration, rebuild connections, and reimagine what’s possible for oral health. Participants will engage with innovative models, policy insights, and systems-level strategies that strengthen the oral health network and spark lasting impact across Texas.

Reignite

Reignite cross-sector collaboration to align efforts and drive collective impact in our pursuit to advance oral health for all Texans.

Rebuild

Rebuild momentum to create a renewed, shared vision for oral health in Texas.

Reimagine

Reimagine oral health systems through dialogue on innovative practice models and policies.

With the theme of Reignite, Rebuild, Reimagine: Oral Health for All, the summit will uplift conversations on access to care, protecting public health through prevention, and bridging oral and overall health, including topics such as Medicaid and Medicare coverage, water fluoridation, tele-dentistry and implications on workforce, school- and community-based programs, minimally invasive dentistry, medical-dental integration, and more!

Who should attend?

The TxOHC Summit is meant for clinicians, thought leaders, students, advocates, and changemakers who are dedicated to building healthier communities with better oral health outcomes. We welcome participants from across sectors, including community-based organizations, professional associations, clinical care, academic institutions, public health agencies, regional coalitions, community collaboratives, philanthropic organizations, payors, advocacy organizations, and more.
