All cancelations must be submitted in writing by emailing registration@acgme.org. To receive a refund, the cancelation must be received by 5:00 p.m. Central on the following dates:

Registration and
Hotel Refund
and Transfer Policy

Refunds are NOT provided for: 

• weather-related events 
• canceled flights 
• personal reasons 
• other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent travel to the conference 

Non-speaker attendees have the option to register on site or transfer their conference registration to avoid the cancelation penalty. Confirmed non-speaker registrations may be transferred at no charge to a colleague in the event the original registrant is unable to attend the conference. Such a request must be made by the original registrant by 5:00 p.m. Central on Wednesday, February 17, 2027. Email registration@acgme.org to request a registration transfer. 

There is a one-night, non-refundable deposit for hotel reservations booked in the ACGME Hotel Room Block, and these hotel reservations must be canceled separately from the conference registration by emailing acgmehousing@globaleventeam.com. 

Speaker registrations are not transferable. 

Guest registrations are not transferable or refundable.

Deferred
Registration
Payments 

Payment of registration by check is considered a deferred payment. Deferred payment registrations must be paid to the ACGME within 30 days of the attendee’s registration date. A non-refundable deferred payment fee of $100 will be applied to all deferred payments, regardless of whether a registrant later chooses to pay by credit card. 

The final date to select the "Deferred Payment" option for registration is Friday, January 8, 2027. This deadline ensures that all payments are collected before the payment deadline of Tuesday, January 26, 2027. After Tuesday, January 26, 2027, any registration with an outstanding balance will be canceled in the registration system. Attendees wishing to attend the conference will need to register using a credit card before the registration deadline of Thursday, February 4, 2027, or register on site at the conference starting Wednesday, February 24, 2027.

Credit Cards

Credit cards are the best way to make a payment, as there is a processing fee associated with deferred payment options. The ACGME accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Once a credit card payment is made, a registration confirmation email and a receipt will automatically be sent.

Guest Registrations

Conference participants have the opportunity to purchase "Receptions Only" passes for their guests. The guests will be permitted to attend the Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off and Toast on the Terrace with ACGME Leadership. The cost of having a guest is $300, and each attendee is limited to one guest. Guests must be at least 21 years old by Wednesday, February 24, 2027.

Group Registrations

During the first attendee's registration process, on the "Registration Review" page, a button will be available to add a group member. Up to 14 colleagues may be added this way. For groups of more than 15, email registration@acgme.org.
