#ACGME2027 will bring together thousands of graduate medical education (GME) professionals, allowing attendees to make new and lasting connections while getting the most out of their time at the conference. The following networking opportunities will be offered during the Annual Educational Conference. Location and time information will be included in the Conference Mobile App.
Networking Highlight: Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off
The Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off is the largest networking event at the conference. The Exhibit Hall will feature a range of vendors offering the latest information on technology and educational software, simulation technology, patient management solutions, and more, as well as approximately 100 posters highlighting the latest research and innovations in GME.
Wednesday Welcome Networking and Check-In
Registration will be open from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Central on Wednesday evening. Attendees are encouraged to check in on Wednesday evening, so they’ll be able to head right to their Full-Day Course on Thursday morning without having to wait in line! This is a great time for colleagues to catch up and reconnect. Those who print their badge are eligible to participate in the Wednesday Raffle, featuring gift baskets valued at $100 and filled with goodies from local San Antonio businesses.
Coordinator Networking Reception
The ACGME will host a Coordinator Networking Reception following the Coordinator Forum Full-Day Course. This reception is open to all institutional and program coordinators looking to connect with others in the coordinator community!
The ACGME Hub
ACGME staff members will be available in the ACGME Hub in the Exhibit Hall. Drop by for consultations during Thursday evening’s Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off, as well as during Friday and Saturday lunch breaks.
Crochet and Connect
Tables in the Exhibit Hall will feature crochet supplies and beginner-friendly patterns for attendees to enjoy. Whether an experienced crocheter or trying it for the first time, take a moment to slow down, create something by hand, and connect with others throughout the conference.
Networking Lunches in Exhibit Hall
Head down to the Exhibit Hall during lunch on Friday and Saturday to engage with exhibitors, meet up with colleagues, and visit with representatives in the ACGME Hub.
Toast on the Terrace with ACGME Leadership
The conference will close out with the annual Toast on the Terrace, immediately following the Thomas J. Nasca Lecture on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Central. All attendees are invited to mingle with ACGME leaders and staff members, as well as colleagues, to reflect on the conference and celebrate the connections made!
