CEE’s purpose is to serve administrators of demand side programs who actively support customers in their journey to manage energy wisely. At the Consortium, we channel our members’ strategic objectives to gain strength in numbers and transform markets.

CEE's annual Industry Partners Meeting provides a unique opportunity for members to collaborate with peers as well as manufacturers, trade associations, distributors, installers/designers, and other key stakeholders. Invited industry guests are able to connect with US and Canadian program administrators who direct more than $8 billion in energy efficiency, decarbonization and load management programs for electricity and natural gas customers. Join the CEE membership and invited industry stakeholders to collectively tackle the most pressing topics for the utility industry's customer-facing programs in 2026 and beyond. Your insights and partnership are critical to the success of these programs.

Sessions on the forthcoming agenda will include:

• Addressing prevailing affordability challenges for customers across all sectors, with a deep dive into multifamily housing program design strategies.
• Advancing dual fuel technologies and applications – such as thermostat control solutions and residential dual fuel water heating – to meet diverse consumer needs.
• Working collectively to unlock load flexibility capabilities and energy management opportunities that benefit the utility, the manufacturer, and the customer.
• Exploring ways to advance the adoption of heat pump applications, including room heat pumps, packaged terminal heat pumps, and gas heat pumps.
• Identifying opportunities for enhanced workforce development, contractor training, and customer education, to enable effective adoption of high-performance solutions.
• Prioritizing objectives for evolving CEE equipment specifications and whole building market transformation strategies.
