Welcome to the Particle Methods and Applications Conference!  We welcome the SPHERIC community to the US to discuss the latest innovations in particle methodology.  We will follow a single track format over three days, and we cordially invite you to attend and contribute.

Particle methods originated in the 1970s to study astrophysical phenomena, and the Lagrangian nature of the methods have allowed for expansion into large deformation solid mechanics, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-phase physics.  The purpose of this conference will be to host leaders in the fields of differing branches of particle methods, namely MPM, RKPM, and SPH and foster collaboration and communication between different types of users.

Conference topics include, but are not limited to:  Solids and structures, free surface flows, turbulence modeling, boundary conditions, high performance computing implementations, stabilized MPM methods, visualization methods, multi-phase flow, shock physics, turbulence, fracture mechanics, industrial applications, geophysics, and more.

Abstract submission is now closed, and registration closes on 1/22/2024.  Early registration is $325, regular registration is $375.

We hope you will join us in beautiful Santa Fe, USA for this event.
