Know Before You Go
Registering Multiple People
If you are registering multiple people from the same company, complete the information for the first person, and then on the Registration Summary page, click on "Add Group Member" to start the process for the next person. When you are finished adding individuals, click next on the Registration Summary page and you will be able to pay for the group in one transaction.
Lodging Information
The StateView Hotel is located on campus near the NC Clean Energy Technology Center.
For other lodgings close to campus, please visit https://lifelonglearning.ncsu.edu/mckimmon-conference-and-training-center-location/ for a list of area hotels and associated corporate codes that can be used during booking to receive a discount. Please note that discounted rates are subject to availability.
Attendance Requirement
90% attendance during the course is required to receive a certificate of completion. You will be expected to sign in each day to mark your attendance.
Payment Information
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express to pay registration fees. If you need to pay by check, purchase order, IDT, grant or scholarship, please contact the training team at cleanenergy@ncsu.edu and we will be happy to assist you.
Payment Plan Information
Credit card payments may be made in 3-5 installments. At the end of the registration process, you may select to pay by installment payments. A member of the training team will contact you within 3 days of registering with additional instructions on how to set up your installment payments. The installment payments will be automatically drafted once a month. Please note that full payment of the course must be received before the start of the course.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Cancellation requests should be sent to CleanEnergy@ncsu.edu for processing. Cancellations:
- 32+ days before the course, receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee
- 15-31 days before the course, receive a 50% refund
- 8-14 days before the course, receive a 25% refund
- 0-7 days before the course are ineligible for a refund
Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time before the start of the course at no cost. Please send an email to CleanEnergy@ncsu.edu with the name of the current registrant and the name and email address of the new registrant to begin the substitution process.
COVID-19 Update
All courses except REPD take place on the campus of NC State University. All participants attending will be expected to adhere to the University's community health and safety standards. Currently, masks are optional indoors.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, please call 919-513‐8888 to hear announcements about University closings or visit ncsu.edu. At the top of the webpage, there will be information regarding the weather status and University closings.
If the University is operating under the following statuses, the workshop is most likely postponed or canceled. Please check your email for additional information from the Training team about postponements or cancellations:
Condition 1: Reduced Operations – Student classes are generally in session and the University is open but some operations may be reduced. Individuals are encouraged to take reasonable precautions for their personal safety.
Condition 2: Suspended Operations – Student classes have been canceled and the University is open on a very limited basis with only mandatory operations functioning.
Condition 3: Closure – Student classes are canceled and the University is closed.
Smoking & Vaping Policies
In keeping with North Carolina General Assembly legislation and the University's smoking policies, smoking or vaping is not allowed within University buildings or within twenty‐five (25) feet of the NC Clean Energy Technology Center or other buildings on campus.
