MEETING OVERVIEW  

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) and NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) will host the inaugural Allied Innovation Procurement Forum (AIPF) as part of the NATO’s Rapid Adoption Action Plan (RAAP), on 25 June 2026 at NCIA in The Hague, Netherlands in a hybrid format (i.e. in-person and virtual).   

The Forum aims to bring together Allied Innovation and Procurement Experts from government and the wider public sector to share best practices, discuss innovative acquisition models, capability development pathways, and strengthen cooperation in accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies within the defence and security domains. 

This event is restricted to Allied partners and procurement practitioners from the public sector.

  

The objective of this forum is to bring together procurement experts from across NATO, national Ministries of Defence (MoDs), national Communications and Information Agencies, and other comparable large public institutions. It provides a platform to exchange best practices, share insights, and offer practical recommendations. 

As the first event of its kind, this forum is intended to serve as the foundation for a recurring engagement, enabling participants to reconnect over time and continue exchanging perspectives and experiences.

 

Several of the topics to be addressed are broad and multi-faceted. Where appropriate, discussions will be carried forward to inform and shape future forums.

NCIA has invited speakers and panelists from Allied governments, NATO bodies, and similar public sector entities to contribute to the discussion through presentations, panels, or case studies. 

 

Register and join us for this milestone first edition! Please register no later than 29 May 2026 for in person attendance. 

 

This new annual event series will be hosted by NCIA and the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), alternating between the two organizations each year. 

Please note that industry representatives are not part of the target audience for this event.

 

The conference will be held at NATO UNCLASSIFIED level, however, the event will take place in a NATO RESTRICTED location.
