What the course will cover
This awareness course provides delegates with some of the key aspects of the mechanical design and installation of pressure relief devices; focusing on the key regulatory and codal requirements for a pressure relief system.
The course will cover elements including:

- Hardware
- Installation
- Discharge and disposal
Training method
This is a virtual training course, presented by TÜV Rheinland’s experienced consultants. The presentations are interactive, with some video illustrations. The style of training is to encourage discussion and participation of the delegates.
On completion of the course
Attendees will gain an awareness of the fundamental design and purpose of relief systems and an understanding of how relief devices are installed and maintained and the common pitfalls with relief devices. Device sizing will be highlighted, but not covered in detail.
