Maurine also serves on the Board of the ISACA Chicago Chapter and as a SheLeadsTech ambassador, where she actively works to empower the next generation of women in technology.

Amy Kabaria, J.D., CIPP/US | Executive Legal Advisor, Maddie BioGenetics
Amy Kabaria is an attorney and self-described company and community builder, who has spent over a decade across Am Law 50 and 100 firms, in-house roles, including Chief Privacy Officer, and AI startup experience. Working at the intersection of law, technology, and product, she translates fast-moving regulation into operational frameworks and legal solutions that protect trust without slowing innovation.
Amy holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, an A.B. in Biology from Harvard College, and completed concurrent graduate Business & Government coursework at the Harvard Kennedy School during law school, training across law, policy, business, and science for a rapidly changing reality. She frequently speaks and writes on intersecting data privacy, cybersecurity, healthcare, and AI legal topics.
She co-chairs Chicago Women in Privacy & Security, which she formed; serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council; co-chairs the Health Law Section of the South Asian Bar Association; and hosts an informal, weekly AI Roundtable (and welcomes anyone to reach out to join). She also co-chairs Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Chicago.
Monique Moguel | Founder, TruVigil Solutions
Monique Moguel is the Founder of TruVigil Solutions, where she helps growing organizations strengthen business operations, governance, and responsible AI adoption. Her work focuses on translating complex governance and risk principles into practical strategies that improve resilience, operational maturity, and long-term business performance.
With a background spanning enterprise risk, financial services, compliance, and business operations, Monique brings a business-first perspective to AI governance. She is an ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, and ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Auditor and is passionate about helping organizations adopt AI in ways that are responsible, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives.
Sally Smoczynski, CISSP | Managing Partner / Owner, Radian Compliance
A proven professional in governance, risk, and compliance with a focus on information security, cybersecurity, privacy, AI governance, and third-party risk management. A problem solver for complex compliance requirements by providing guidance for building a model of continual improvement that manages customer and business requirements using ISO standards and other industry frameworks.
Sally has contributed her subject matter expertise as a chapter author for the Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM) exam study guide.
