MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Gary Kercher studied Mining and Civil Engineering Technology at Indiana State University while working for an engineering consulting firm in the Midwest. He began as a draftsman but spent most of his time as a surveyor, construction inspector, and materials testing technician on DOT projects.

In 1995, he started training for HCSS while still in the construction industry, and by 1996, he founded his own company, Con-ECT, Inc., to provide on-site HCSS training and contract estimating before fully transitioning from construction in 2000.
