John Cuneo works as the SVP, chief risk officer for Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union. In this role, he is responsible for the corporate’s risk, compliance, information security and audit functions, working closely with the NCUA and NCCUD. In addition, Mr. Cuneo oversees the business continuity plans, incident response planning and testing and facilities management.

Mr. Cuneo has 24 years of information technology and information security experience. He has been responsible for system and application administration, help desk support and management, disaster recovery support, information security program, incident response handling, physical security, security awareness training, and vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.

Mr. Cuneo has achieved certifications as a GIAC Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner+ (CASP+), CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist (CSIS), Security+, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (CIOS), Network+, A+ and certified help desk analyst.
