This session aims to demystify this psychological phenomenon by defining impostor syndrome, identifying the student populations most affected, and examining its root causes in the context of experiential learning. Additionally, this session will provide practical, research-informed strategies for students to build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of belonging in professional environments.
The session also will highlight effective support mechanisms and advising approaches that empower students to overcome self-doubt and thrive. Attendees will have opportunities to share their own experiences and engage in meaningful dialogue throughout the session.
