EXPOSITION
Our Expo is the largest gathering of piercing related exhibitors in the world.
Manufacturers often utilize this event to present their newest products or services to the piercing community.
This is the venue in which you, as a piercer, can meet your exhibitors and manufacturers face-to-face, seeing their products up close before buying.
An exhibitor’s presence at the Expo does not constitute APP endorsement. Our Exposition is an open trade show; not a juried show.
The APP encourages all Attendees to shop responsibly.
BODY JEWELRY VERIFICATION PROGRAM
The APP’s Body Jewelry Verification Program verifies the material source and quality controls used in the manufacturing of jewelry sold by a manufacturer to better ensure it meets our standards for initial jewelry. You can read more about the BJVP program and manufacturers can apply to be included on our list of verified exhibitors at safejewelry.org Verified exhibitors will be provided with a badge to display at their booth.
APP CORPORATE SPONSORS
Our Corporate Sponsors are supporters of our association and understand our mission. They may or may not be eligible or desire to apply for the Body Jewelry Verification Program.
ATTENDING THE EXPOSITION AS A BUYER
Our Exposition floor is wholesale sales only. Our Exposition is a trade show floor – and is not open to the general public. The APP reserves the right to restrict access to the Expo for Attendees who fail to provide us with the proper proof of industry affiliation.
Multiple forms of proof may be required to meet the threshold of evidence. Acceptance of industry affiliation remains the sole discretion of the APP.
In 2026 all Industry Attendees (Owners, Managers, Studio staff, Piercers, and Apprentices) will be considered to be “buyer eligible” if they have attended a previous Conference and provided us proof of reseller/retailer in a previous year (within 5 years). APP Members by virtue of their membership have met the requirement. New attendees and those who submitted documents more than 5 years ago will need to provide two forms of proof of their employment within the industry.
Non-Industry attendees will not be allowed on the Expo Floor.
Health Inspectors and other regulators are encouraged to attend a special “class” which is a tour of the Expo Floor with a board representative.
