BEST BOOTH COMPETITION

  • The APP holds a Best Booth competition for its Exhibitors. The award is highly regarded and has stiff competition each year.
  • There are two (2) categories – Best Single Booth and Best Multiple Booth.
  • Winners receive a ribbon of achievement and recognition at the Closing Award Ceremony. 
  • Winners are selected by roaming judges – so be sure to have your booth at its best throughout the week!

INNOVATOR’S AWARD COMPETITION

In 2026 the contest returns and is going ALL digital!

DEADLINE: May 7th at midnight PST

The Innovator’s Award program is a chance for Exhibitors and Attendees alike to showcase new and innovative designs they want to promote, test at the show, and gain recognition from those in our Industry. 

Single item showpiece? Introduction to a new line? Never-before-seen jewelry concept? We welcome your submissions!

  • There are two (2) categories – Technical Innovation and Creative Innovation. 
  • Each Exhibitor/Attendee is allowed one (1) entry per category.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to display their entries at their booths
    • The APP will supply small official “signs” with entry # for voting and a QR code to ballot
  • Entries will be posted in the Event app (phone app) 
  • Voting will take place via a linked google form
  • APP will be doing both email and social media posts about the contest in order to encourage attendees to vote! 
  • The deadline for submissions will be strictly held to – no submissions will be accepted after the deadline. DEADLINE: May 7th at midnight PST
  • The APP will not be responsible for any “stolen images/designs” resulting from the move to fully digital. Designers should safeguard their images as they see fit.

 

Winners of an Innovator of the Year award will be formally recognized at the Closing Awards Ceremony for their contribution and achievement and given an interview in The Point (our digital journal). 

Fees: None in most cases. If the submission comes from someone other than a (paid) full conference pass Attendee, or an Exhibitor (with a booth on the floor) – there is a submission fee of $300 (less registration fees paid).

How to Enter: Exhibitors/Attendees will need to complete the entry form. See Link below. Submission of this form will be the confirmation of the Exhibitor’s participation. This form will include:

  • The creator's name
  • Category: Technical or Creative Innovation
  • Name of design, piece, or product
  • Up to 3 images of the item (the APP suggests you watermark your image)
    • Supported file types: JPEG, JPG, or PNG only. 
    • Required size: 936 x 400 pixels
    • Each photo 2 MB or less
  • A single web link to enhanced listing information (see below for details)

 

Enhanced Listing Information

Provide us a single link to videos, photos, or flyers describing the piece - showing it in use - showing how it’s made. We’ll turn your link into a QR code and display it alongside your entry in the Event app. Participants can scan the code and instantly link to your item’s information! Entries can be provided without a link.
