Join SOCHE for a virtual lunch and learn entitled “Leadership: Theory and Practice,” on Wednesday, May 14, beginning at 12 p.m. ET. The session will be presented by Dr. Amanda McLellan, director of the Thomas Library at Wittenberg University.
As John F. Kennedy once wrote, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” There are numerous resources aimed at improving leadership, and it can become quickly overwhelming. This presentation will provide a brief overview of some of the theoretical approaches to leadership and what those look like in practice. We will discuss some of the pros and cons of several major theories and tips on how to choose a leadership style (or styles) to best apply to your situation, as well as identify resources where you can learn more.
