North American High Order Methods Conference

The North American High Order Methods Conference aims to provide a North American forum for computational scientists, mathematicians, scientists and engineers to share ideas and techniques on, and further the state of the art of, high order methods for the solution of partial differential equations with applications to a broad range of scientific and engineering applications. Modern high-order methods find applications in various industries, such as fluid dynamics, aerospace, geophysics, astrophysics, electromagnetics, acoustics. The methods of interest include, but are not limited to: spectral elements, high order finite elements, high-order finite volume ENO/WENO. The topics to be discussed are, among others: high order approximation in three space dimensions, provably stable schemes, structure- and property-preserving high-order methods, fast linear solvers for high order methods, methods for complex geometries, efficient parallel implementations, nonconforming and adaptive methods, error estimation and control, high-dimensional uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analysis.
